How to Submit List of Names for Personalized Lanyards with Word
After you have decided on the lanyard color, thread color, attachment, and options for your personalized school lanyard. Now it is time to prepare the names so TempIDs can personalize the school lanyards. Below are tips on how to submit the teacher names for personalized lanyards using Word. This is the least preferred method and could delay initial production by a couple of hours.

School Lanyard ordering tip: The personalized names look better when they are all uppercase. If you prefer we can do upper and lower case. We can adjust your upper and lower case name list to all capital letters for you. Don't worry, there is no charge for this service. We will also send the updated list back for you to scrutinize.
Open your Word Program. We need the names one per line space. On the first line, type the name of your school and hit the ENTER key. Now you can either type the names you have or copy and paste from another source. Below is a sample picture of how your list would appear in Word
The reason for typing the school name on the first line is a check measure so we know we have the correct list for personalized names. After you are finished the personalized lanyard list, save your file in Microsoft Word. Go to File>Save As. A pop up box will appear like below. We recommend saving the file with your school name in the name and hit Save.
For those that are ordering the personalized school lanyards for teams and want the jersey numbers then please include it on the same line. An example of what this would like like is: NANCY GLASS #88
The file will have a docx or doc extension. Email that lanyard file to us. Please note that we take names from the Microsoft Word and drop the content in Excel.
Last minute lanyard ordering tips. Review the lanyard names a couple of times and have at least one other person look it over. The reason for this is to make sure you have everyone's name spelled correctly and that you have everyone on the list. From time to time, a customer will call us that a name was mispelled or that they forgot a couple of people. We can print as few as one after your initial order, but the piece price is higher
and the
turnaround is 7 days.
