How to Submit List of Names for Personalized Lanyards

     So you have decided on your colors, attachment, and options for your personalized lanyard. Now all you have left is to prepare the names so TempIDs can print your personalized lanyards. The following are tips on how to submit the names.  How to place your personalized individual name lanyard order.

     We need the names in a spread sheet file. The names look better when they are all uppercase, but we can do upper and lower case.  We will print the way you submit the names, so if you want all CAPS, then you will need to input the names this way or convert to ALL CAPS at the end.

     For the first entry A1 type in your organization name. It is preferred that you submit all the names in one column. Type the first person in A2, the second person in A3, and so on. For example, entry A2 would read KATHY KIRKLAND, A3 would have MARGIE MARSHALL, and the rest. Please do not put other entries in other columns like lanyard color or school name. You want to keep that information in the body of the email when you place your order.

     When your list is complete, save your file with an xls extension.  When you go to save as, a new box will appear, go to Save as type: and click the arrow or what is defaulted like xlr in the picture below and you will see the xls extension under Excel 97-2003, then type the name of your file, and click save.      If you are submitting jersey numbers then simply add  # and the jersey number in the same column as the name.

     Last minute tips.  Review the lanyard names a couple of times and have at least one other person look it over.  The reason for this is to make sure you have everyone's name spelled correctly and that you have everyone on the list.  From time to time a customer will call us that a name was mispelled or that they forgot a couple of people.  We can print the onesies, twosies after your initial order, but the piece price is higher and the turnaround is 7 days.
